A simplified model for calculating the decay rate of the impulse response for an indoor propagation channel

In this paper we introduce a simplified model for calculating the decay rate of the power delay profile (or impulse response) for indoor wireless radio propagation channels. Results from this model are compared to results obtained from measured impulse response data. We also show comparisons to a finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) model of the power delay profile.
