Ion beam modification of carbon fibre

Surface treatment of high modules carbon fibres by pulse ion (C

and N
⁺
) beams have been carried out and changes in morphology and structure of carbon fibres have been investigated by using scanning electron microscopy and electrical resistance measurement.
