An Adaptive Grey Sliding Mode Algorithm for Anti-lock Braking System

In this paper, a new Adaptive Grey Sliding Mode Control(AGSMC) algorithm for Anti-lock Braking System(ABS) is presented. The algorithm has the advantages of grey prediction and robustness. Compared with the traditional algorithm, prediction step-size as well as sliding mode surface can be regulated adaptively according to the predictive precision. Moreover, dynamic adaptive sliding mode control can be achieved. The algorithm is verified on a quarter vehicle model, and the simulation results indicate that the ABS system has good performance in speed, stability, and robustness.
