Absorbing materials optimization on characteristic parameters

Many mathematical methods have been used in absorbing materials optimization on characteristic parameters, but none is efficient all the time. We believe that before optimization a thorough study of the object function should be done. We analyzed the characteristics of this object function, and drew some useful conclusions for the absorbing materials' parameter optimization. These conclusions are suitable for the optimization of thickness, and the complex permittivity and complex permeability. Using this conclusion, optimization will become much more simple and convenient.
