Analysis of a class of Chua's system

In this paper, we investigate a class of Chua's system. Conditions are derived which ensure the existence of an equilibrium point and the asymptotically stable for state trajectories of the Chua's system. The analysis in the paper employs results from the theory of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side as introduced by Filippov. Simulation results are further presented to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.
