Wide bandpass filters with wide upper stopbands for high power system applications

A methodology addressing the design of filters exhibiting wide passbands and wide upper stopbands is presented in this paper. The filters are classified as lumped-distributed and can handle high power levels. Experimental results of two manufactured filters are presented proving the design concept.
