Performance of 112Gbit/s RF-assisted multi-carrier DP-16-QAM in a transparent optical domain

We investigate the tolerance to narrowband filtering and nonlinear propagation of 112 Gbit/s and its suitability to a 50 GHz DWDM system. This format is a potential alternative to more complex modulation formats for optical meshed networks.
