Y β-ray irradiation rose up, the apoptosis of prostate tissue was increased according to the dose of irradiation (P<;0.01), typical DNA Ladder band appeared in DNA fragment electrophoresis test in β-ray irradiation for 7 days group. β-ray irradiation can effectively induce and develop apoptosis in human hyperplastic prostate tissue and cause reduction of prostate tissue.
