Control of a hybrid excitation synchronous generator for a wind energy application

The paper's aim consists on achieving the control of a HESG for a wind turbine application. This machine has an auxiliary power source that offers the possibility to control the excitation flux and thus the machine's rotation speed. It makes it possible to achieve a variable speed wind turbine that properly operates according to a MPPT algorithm.
