Low power frequeney-to-time conversion for cellular systems using predictive zero-crossing

This paper discusses one of the zero crossing based FM demodulator architectures and its application in demodulating /spl pi//4-QPSK and MSK transmitted signals. Special attention has been paid to reduce the power consumption in the demodulator using the statistics of spacing between zero crossings.
