Researching the ‘forgotten sector’: Low and medium tech (LMT) innovation - present light on future trends

As a research topic and priority for policy formulation, resource allocation and strategy implementation, low-tech (LT) and low- and medium-tech (LMT) sectors have traditionally attracted lesser attention compared to high-tech sectors. This paper addresses questions concerning our current priorities in terms of research on innovation in LT/LMT sectors.
