Construction and application of water flow chart in steel rolling process

Based on the work flow of steel rolling process, the water flow chart was built and its valuation index of water-use was confirmed by using the tracking observation principle of the material flow analysis theory combined with medium and small cycle theory of system energy conservation. The water-use status of steel rolling process was analyzed. A case study on a plant, its water-using situation and the deficiencies of water system were analyzed and evaluated.
