Analysis on crankshaft of 12V190 engine using 3-D FEA method

In order to simulate mutual effects between crankshaft and base, connecting rod and crankpin, the FEA software is applied to crankshaft's structural analysis. Based on the crankshaft model and reasonable contact set, the crankshaft is analyzed successfully. Results show that the way can be better applied for the engineering practice as a new thought for the crankshaft's intensity analysis and the crankshaft designed is safety under operating condition.
