Research on power feedforward control strategy of PWM rectifier

In the direct power control system of three-phase PWM rectifier, the control accuracy of active power and reactive power directly affects the whole system's performances. The DC side capacitor's mechanism on the DC side voltage is analyzed and the power feedforward control strategy based on the power mathematical model is researched in this paper, which can effectively restrain the DC side voltage fluctuation caused by the load power disturbances. A new sector division method is researched and an optimized switching table is designed in this paper for optimizing the modulation scheme and improving the regulation of the reactive power. The simulative and experimental results show that the voltage and current of the three-phase PWM rectifier have better dynamic and static response preferences. The AC side current aberrance is smaller and the DC side voltage is steady under this control strategy. Also the PWM rectifier can implement PWM commute with unity power factor.
