Analysis of horizontal force of low-bridge's container trolley in automatic port

Because of its own manufacturing and installation error, the asymmetrical external load received and other factors, automatic port low bridging container trolley suffers horizontal force while working, and trolley lateral deflection occurs. This will lead to the stability of the trolley running down and affect the reliability of the entire port load handling system. By theoretical calculation, modeling and simulation for the main factors causing the horizontal force, this article gives the relationship between the horizontal force and the wheel pressure, velocity, acceleration and so on. And the other factors causing horizontal force such as the rail height difference, the wheels installing deviation, trolley deflection walking and eccentric acceleration also are analyzed. The calculation and analysis results can supply a reference for designers to improve automatic port system security and efficiency.
