Preparation and magnetic research of ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles by carbon adsorption

With inorganic salt solution as the raw materials, ZnFe
2
O
4
nanoparticles was successfully prepared by the carbon adsorption method.The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and VSM. The XRD results show that the high purity ZnFe
2
O
4
nanoparticles can be prepared at 500 °C. SEM observation reveals that the as-prepared ZnFe
2
O
4
nanoparticles have a uniform particle size, and the particles are almost spherical without any agglomeration, the “S” shape hysteresis loops of ZnFe
2
O
4
nanoparticles explain that the samples display superparamagnetic under room temperature.
