The review about the product diffusion model 2000–2010

Product diffusion research has a very important strategic significance in supporting the manager's decision-making in the enterprises, and has far-reaching effects in the products' R&D, popularizing, and updating processes. This paper reviews the domestic and abroad literatures in product diffusion field. The existing diffusion models, the research filed, and the parametric estimation methods from 2000 to 2010 have been summarized in the paper. As a result, we found the research methods and the future's research trend in this field, as well as the detail differences between Chinese researches and abroad ones, which will point out the future research direction, provide the research approaches and the foundation for the future researches.
