The dielectric behaviour of PbO-Bi/sub 2/O/sub 3/ electret system at infralow frequencies

The relation between depolarization currents dependences and a.c. dielectric properties of metal/Pb/sub 2/Bi/sub 6/O/sub 11//metal structures is considered by using a computer method. An empirical formula is proposed for analysis of the discharge process. Measurements indicate the existence of a non-Debye relaxation mechanism. The phenomenological theory of transient currents derived from the dark-depolarization experiments is reported. The dielectric information obtained includes the distribution of relaxation times for polycrystalline Pb/sub 2/Bi/sub 6/O/sub 11/.
