Studies on the positive operator solutions to a class of operator equation

In infinite dimensional Hilbert space,the positive operator solutions to the operator equation X + A* X

A = I(0 < t < 1) are studied. Some necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive operator solutions to the equation are given. Also, the rang of the positive operator solutions is established.
