Mathematical determination of the ideal tibial insertion of the patellar tendon

This paper demonstrates for the first time that mathematics are able to allow exact determination of the ideal tibial insertion of the patellar ligament. This is important because it allows surgeons to be more accurate when distally correcting malalignment of the extensor apparatus. [5].
