Widely tunable resonated-ring-reflector lasers covering C- and L-bands

Widely tunable resonated-ring-reflector lasers having a tuning range of 115 nm are demonstrated. The lasers fully cover the ITU C- and L-bands with high fiber-coupled output power (> +13 dBm) and large side-mode suppression (SMSR > 40 dB).
