Infrastructure and Challenges for Convergence of Radio, Fibre and DSL Technologies

This paper describes broadband fixed access networks including home networking and services as well as an optical infrastructure for mobile phone networks. Technical challenges for fixed mobile and broadcasting convergence are also discussed.
