High-frequency asymptotic projection method in the problem of the thin dielectric layer's excitation over the circular conducting cylinder

A circular perfectly conducting cylinder is excited by the field of a point source. The cylinder is covered by a layer of homogeneous dielectric. The authors regard the E-polarization case and give the wave equation to describe the field.
