An atmospheric correction algorithm for hyperspectral imagery of lake water by Chinese satellite HJ-1A

This paper demonstrates the Ruddick's algorithm to utilize atmospheric correction with the hyper-spectral imagery over Chinese turbid lake water obtained by China first hyperspectral imager (HSI) onboard HJ-1A. The paper studies on the sensor characteristics and analyzes the optical properties of turbid lake water in Taihu Lake.
