X-Band narrow-beam antenna for surveillance radar with high resolution at range

An antenna array (AA) for radar systems with signal bandwidth of 300 MHz was developed. Main AA parameters are: beam width at elevation 270 and at azimuth 10, variation of gain at 9280-9580 MHz band no more than 1.5 dB, parasitic swing of the beam is absent. Intrinsic loss in through AA channel amounts value is close to -1.5 dB, eigen polarization is linear horizontal, side lobe level is less than -25 dB.
