Analysis of stator short-circuit faults for induction machine using finite element modeling

In this paper we present an analysis on the different types of short-circuit (sc) that may affect the stator windings by means of a finite element model. Three cases of short-circuit were simulated on the electrical circuit of stator. The machine is modelled in magneto-evolving.
