Resistance angle sensor based tree diameter gauge

Accurate measurement of the tree diameter is important for the production and scientific research of forestry. The paper developed a resistance angle sensor based on tree diameter gauge, which provided a resolution to some difficulties in tree diameter measuring, such as big trees and trees with spine. The height measuring module based on ultrasonic sensor made it easy to find the best position for tree diameter measurement. The tree diameter gauge has the advantage of digital indication, automatic data storage and USB interface and is of high practical value.
