Diffraction of a plane wave with an amplitude linearly varying along its front on a rigid semi-infinite screen

We deal with a new non-stationary problem of diffraction. A plane wave with an amplitude linearly varying along the front is incident on a rigid semiinfinite screen. Exact analytical solution of the problem is obtained by the Smirnov-Sobolev method.
