Analysis and flexible design of metamaterial-based multi-channel monopole antennas

This paper proposes a five-channel magnetic-based metamaterial-inspired antenna with usable bandwidth. A flexible design approach is also introduced for easy controlling respective channel's centre frequency. Through simulation study and analysis, the relation between the antenna's structure and impedance matching characteristics are summarized with formulae for frequency control.
