New method for calculating pulse radiation from an antenna with a reflector

A simple method for calculating the pulse radiation of an antenna with a reflector is proposed both in the near and far zones. The method is based on substitution of the radiation field from a parabolic mirror by the radiation field from an exciting V-antenna reflected from the mirror. An experimental investigation of the system radiation field and a comparison with the theoretical results have been performed.
