Design of a machine tool information service system

This work proposed a machine tools information service system (MTISS) for the machine industry. The purpose of MTISS is to provide an information integration framework to improve production effectiveness of the factory. MTISS possess an embedded data service system (EDSS) for data collection. Various analysis, monitor and management application programs are deployed in remote hosts. EDSS plays a role of the bridge between machine tools and remote hosts. The framework design of MTISS is flexible and expandable and suitable for various application systems integration.
