Input-output decoupling of nonlinear control for an induction machine

In this work, a field oriented nonlinear control method has been applied to an induction motor and compared with a nonlinear state feedback control model written with respect to a fixed stator frame. Simulations show that the last method is not robust beside rotor resistance parameter variations. This problem is solved in the first method by increasing the dynamics of the flux observer. Experimental results for the field oriented method are obtained and compared with the simulation ones. The model of the flux observer is approximated by a first order equivalent discrete model. For the second method, only simulation results are reported including the influence of unknown rotor resistance deviations and the load torque.
