Charge-control piecewise-linear bipolar junction transistor model

Transient behaviour of a BJT can be accurately predicted by the piecewise-linear charge-control model developed here. Simplicity is obtained by sacrificing the accuracy in junction forward voltages which are usually negligible. The model's strength is that it allows analytical results to be obtained for complicated nonlinear and chaotic phenomena in practical electronic circuits. The model's accuracy is verified by comparing simulation with experiments on BJT power electronic circuits.
