Modeling EMC/EMI effects of antenna systems on large platforms using multi-solver domain decomposition methods

We proposed a multi-region multi-solver domain decomposition method (MS-DDM) to simulate problem with antennas mounted on electrically large platform. This approach is based on our previous work with improvement on treating touching surfaces. In this approach, the sub-regions are not necessarily to be disjointed, which significantly simplifies modelling of the antennas on platform. We successfully applied this method to solve the mutual coupling problem of multiple antennas mounted on a F-16 aircraft at 2GHz frequency.
