Steady state flow analysis for integrated urban heat and power distribution networks

A steady state load flow analysis for an integrated heat and power system is investigated. It combines established load flow methods for both power and heat networks. The linear theory is used to solve the heat flow problem. Forward/backward iterations were used to solve the electric load flow. The two networks are coupled via the CHP unit. The model was tested on a benchmark low voltage Microgrid .
