A novel miniaturized antenna for RFID application in the Entrance Guard's System

An UHF RFID antenna is designed specially for the application of the entrance guard's system, which is a kind of array with two miniaturized elements in order to form a desired forward-pointing wavebeam. Both the experiment's and simulation's results showed that the proposed design could bring antenna gain over 7dB and the front-to-back ratio more than 13 dB with overall sizes reduction of 35%.
