A new method of improving frequency interference in frequency planning of TD_SCDMA

Improving frequency interference is the primary purpose of network planning and optimization in TD_SCDMA. In this paper, a new algorithm to improve frequency interference, named Ant Colony Algorithm (ACA), was put forward to; in addition existent methods were enriched. We described ACA principle, and then a new specific scenario was investigated and introduced into the frequency planning. Afterwards, by applying the algorithm into the mainstream planning software APOX

we provided some comparative actual projects of the two algorithms: ACA and graph coloring. In APOX

, frequency pollution was defined as the number of prime frequency with frequency compared to RSCP in the scope of 3db.So, after comparative analysis of the actual results of TD-SCDMA network planning projects, it comes to the conclusion that frequency interference is improved to some extent, at the same time frequency reuse distance is expanded by applying the new algorithm.
