IT is an area where everyone constantly worries about the future. Uncertainty dominates many of the considerations, so it is no surprise that a herd instinct often takes over. If everyone is doing the same thing at the same time, no-one can take you to task when it turns out not to have been the right decision. Being wrong together is not as good as being right alone, but it certainly beats being wrong and out on a limb.
