An enhanced model applied to the optimal power flow problem

This paper presents a study about optimal active and reactive dispatch with line flow constraints. The primal-dual logarithmic barrier method was used to solve the problem. The results obtained in networks of 8 and 118 busses show that the proposed technique is able to improve system operation.
