A New Expression Database and Facial Animation

Traditionally, human expression database was built by recording the real actor's face. The disadvantage of this expressions are lack of spontaneity. In this paper, to alleviate this problem, we present a newly developed expression database which is constructed in two aspects. Based on our database, we proposed a new algorithm to synthesize the facial expression animation. And the experimental results have indicated a better effect.
