The Application of Product Data Management in Research and Development of Product

This paper bends to the application of product data management in research and development of product. After generally introducing basic conception, keystone, structure of system and function, this paper will go along analyzing requirement of Research and development(R&D) of product. Aiming at the matters of product data management(PDM), the object of this analysis is the process of R&D in Z corporation. Then this paper puts forward the layout of implementing and scheme about PDM. The application of PDM resolves some problems, such as confusion of data, unclear edition, inquiring difficulty and so on. Z corporation explores the means of PDM which adapts to its the present developing.
