Time-domain S-parameter extraction for waveguides containing low loss dielectrics

Using the Finite Integration Technique to solve Maxwell's equations in the time domain allows to analyze the broadband transmission behavior of waveguides in a very efficient way. Of particular interest here are inhomogeneous waveguides containing low loss dielectrics and carrying QTEM modes, like microstrip lines.
