Gigabit transceivers and building blocks

This session starts with an overview of emerging high-speed wireline communication standards and a general-purpose transceiver design. Then, two low-power equalization techniques are discussed, followed by two new signaling schemes for serial links. An opto-electronic receiver in silicon concludes the session.
