Influences of fluid flow effects on mechanical properties of the blood fuel cell via finite element method

It is becoming a more and more popular method to exam and treat diseases by the blood involvement therapy. Because of the good curative effect, small wound, and quick recovery, the method has become the worldwide research highlight. How to supply the checking device's power is the key problem among all of the issues. At present, this kind of instruments is mainly energized by the method of the blood biological fuel cell. But the blood biological fuel cell will affect the blood flow inevitably. Thus, it is very important to design the structure reasonably to gurantee the blood and the battery's mechanics performance. By the establishment of the reasonable model this paper carries on the fuel cell body and the blood flow after the biological fuel cell implanted and fixed on the blood vessel with the empirical datum. A series of experiments has been conducted by changing the different velocities of the blood flow and the different cell sizes as well as the manners of the cell fixed way. The conclusion of the experiments via finite element simulation may put forward the proposal to the blood biological fuel cell's design.
