Design of unique highly nonlinear photonic crystal fibers for medical applications

Using finite difference method, we demonstrated the nonlinear coefficients more than 72 and 60 [Wkm]
⁻¹
at 1.0 µm and 1.3 µm, respectively with flattened dispersion of 0 + 2.7 ps/(nm.km) and low confinement losses.
