Collaborative Puzzle Game: Fostering collaboration in children with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and with typical development

We present the design and an initial evaluation of the Collaborative Puzzle Game (CPG), an interactive game designed with the purpose of creating a technology-supported activity for fostering collaboration in children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Results show that shaping interaction with a set of system-provided rules called “enforced collaboration” makes interaction more complex but has a positive impact on children's collaboration.
