The Simulation of Heavy Metal's Transporting in Soil

Heavy metals, such as cadmium, mercury etc, if not being properly disposed, may beget serious pollution to the environment, enter ecosystem sooner or later, and get into life chain and food chain, ultimately incur heavy threaten to humanpsilas health. Heavy metals enter the food chain via many ways, the first step pollutes the soil, after that pollutes plants which grow in the polluted soil; or directly contaminates the water we drink. The worse is that once the soil polluted by heavy metal(s); it is very hard to recovery. Thus, it justifies the necessity to study the course of heavy metalpsilas transporting in soil. This paper attempts to set up a time-variant 2-D mathematical model, resolve it by finite differential equation to quantify the process of heavy metal with time and distance in soil. The sorption of soil is also included in this model.
