Frame-loss-free line switching method for in-service optical access network using interferometry line length measurement

This paper proposes a method for the interferometry path length measurement of dualized optical transmission lines with a precision of 1 mm. The frame-loss-free line switching of in-service GE-PON is realized by continuously transferring signals.
