2.46 GHz solid-state high-power oscillator with planar cavity resonator

We designed and fabricated the high power oscillator of two cases. In the case of the power oscillator using PCR, the maximum output power is to be 3 W at the frequency of 2.459 GHz. The conversion efficiency is 33.8%. The measured phase noises are −107 dBc/Hz, − 125 dBc/Hz and − 147 dBc/Hz at the offset frequency of 10 kHz, 100 kHz and 1 MHz, respectively. The present results could expect as the study of a man-portable radar transponder that satisfies stability of the frequency and has the high output power [6].
