Custom hardware for high performance and high security digital data ciphering

REDOC III is an algorithm for data ciphering which uses only XORing to combine key and data, without substitutions or permutations. In this paper several extensions to the algorithm are proposed for use in customised cryptosystems, which increase complexity without reducing ciphering speed.
